The 2024–25 North Texas Mean Green women's basketball team represents the University of North Texas during the 2024–25 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Mean Green, led by second-year head coach Jason Burton, play their home games at the UNT Coliseum in Denton, Texas as second-year members of the American Athletic Conference.

Previous season

The Mean Green finished the 2023–24 season 23–9, 13–5 in AAC play to finish in a tie a three-way tie for first place.[1] They were upset by #10 seed Rice in the quarterfinals of the AAC tournament.[2] They received an at-large bid to the WBIT,[3] where they would be defeated by TCU in the first round.[4]
