Previous season

[edit]

The Wildcats finished the 2023–24 season 15–16, 10–10 in WAC play, to finish in a tie for sixth place.[1] As the No. 7 seed in the WAC tournament, they lost to Stephen F. Austin in the first round.[2] They received an invitation to the CIT, where they defeated Texas A&M–Corpus Christi in the first round,[3] before losing to fellow WAC member Tarleton in the quarterfinals.[4]
