The 2023 Thanet District Council election took place on 4 May 2023 to elect members of Thanet District Council in Kent, England.[1][2] This was on the same day as other local elections across England.
The council was under no overall control prior to the election, being led by Conservative councillor Ash Ashbee. Labour won a majority of the seats. Ash Ashbee lost her seat.[3][4] Labour group leader Rick Everitt was appointed leader of the council at the subsequent annual council meeting on 18 May 2023.[5]
