The 2023–24 Niagara Purple Eagles women's basketball team represented Niagara University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Purple Eagles, led by ninth-year head coach Jada Pierce, played their home games at the Gallagher Center in Lewiston, New York as members of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC).
Previous season
[edit]The Purple Eagles finished the 2022–23 season 18–13, 16–4 in MAAC play, to finish in a tie for second place.[1] In the MAAC tournament, they defeated Rider in the quarterfinals,[2] before being upset by Manhattan in the semifinals.[3] They received an automatic bid into the WNIT,[4] where they would be defeated by Green Bay in the first round.[5]
