2024 MVC tournament winner

The 2023–24 Murray State Racers women's basketball team represented Murray State University during the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season. The Racers, led by seventh-year head coach Rechelle Turner, played their home games at the CFSB Center in Murray, Kentucky as second-year members of the Missouri Valley Conference (MVC). They finished the season 20–12, 12–8 in MVC play, to finish in sixth place.[1]

Previous season

The Racers finished the 2022–23 season 15–16, 7–13 in MVC play, to finish in eighth place.[2] They defeated Evansville in the opening round of the 2023 MVC women's basketball tournament,[3] before falling to top-seeded Illinois State in the quarterfinals.[4]
