- ^ Since the 16th-placed team Ascoli finished more than 4 points ahead of the 17th-placed team Cosenza, the relegation play-out was not played and Cosenza were originally relegated directly. However, Cosenza was ultimately spared from relegation following Chievo's bankruptcy and subsequent dissolution.
