The 2019 VAFA season was the 119th season of the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), the largest senior community Australian rules football competition in Victoria.[1] The season began on 6 April and concluded on 22 September, with 66 teams participating across seven divisions under a promotion and relegation system.[2]
This was the final VAFA season until 2022 where finals series were held and premiers awarded, with the 2020 season cancelled and the 2021 season curtailed due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.[3][4]

[edit]The Old Eltham Collegians Football Club left the VAFA at the end of the 2018 season to join the Northern Football Netball League (NFNL).[5]
Name changes
[edit]Masala renamed to Masala Dandenong Football Club on 11 February 2019 in order to bring it closer to the Dandenong community.[6]
