The 2019–20 Big East Conference men's basketball season began with practices in October 2019, followed by the start of the 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season in November. Conference play began in January 2020.
Head coaches
[edit]Coaching changes
[edit]In April 2019, Chris Mullin resigned as the head coach of St. John's, leaving the program after four seasons.[1] On April 19, Arkansas head coach Mike Anderson was hired by St. John's as Mullin's replacement.[2]
