Semi-finals
[edit]On 3 April 2018, Debrecen reached the last four.[9] On 4 April 2018, Újpest,[10] Balmazújváros and Puskás Akadémia qualified for the semi-finals.[11] On 5 April 2018, it was published by Nemzeti Sport that MTK Budapest is considering to caveat the second-leg of the quarter-finals against Újpest because according to the regulations only 5 non-EU player can play in the Magyar Kupa matches. However, there were 6 non-EU players in the Újpest FC team.[12]
