The 1998 Croke Cup was the 47th staging of the Croke Cup since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1944. The competition ran from 5 April to 3 May 1998.

St Colman's College were the defending champions, however, they were beaten by St Flannan's College in the Harty Cup final.[1][2]

The final was played on 3 May 1998 at Croke Park in Dublin, between St Flannan's College and St Raphael's College, in what was their first ever meeting in the final.[3] St Flannan's College won the match by 2–16 to 1–11 to claim their 12th Croke Cup title overall and a first title in seven years.[4][5]
