The 1987-88 NBA season was the Bucks' 20th season in the NBA.[1] The Bucks finished fourth in the Central Division with a 42–40 record. In the first round of the playoffs, they lost in five games to the Atlanta Hawks. This was also their final season playing at MECCA Arena.
