The 1962 All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship was the second staging of the All-Ireland Intermediate Hurling Championship since its establishment by the Gaelic Athletic Association in 1961. The championship ran from 8 April to 9 September 1962.

Wexford entered the championship as the defending champions, however, they were beaten by Kilkenny in the Leinster Championship.[1][2]

The All-Ireland final was played at Wexford Park on 9 September 1962 between Carlow and London, in what was their first ever championship meeting. Carlow won the match by 6-15 to 3-03 to claim their first ever All-Ireland title.[3][4][5][6]
