The 1949 Baker Wildcats football team represented Baker University—as a member of the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC) during the 1949 college football season. Led by fourth-year head coach Karl Spear, the Wildcats compiled an overall record of 7–2 with a mark of 5–1 in conference play, winning the KCAC title.[1]
