The 1948 St. Bonaventure Bonnies football team, sometimes also referred to as the St. Bonaventure Brown Indians, was an American football team that represented St. Bonaventure University during the 1948 college football season. In its third season under head coach Hugh Devore, the team compiled a 7–1–1 record and outscored opponents by a total of 130 to 59.[1]
St. Bonaventure was ranked at No. 76 in the final Litkenhous Difference by Score System ratings for 1948.[2]
The team played its home games at Forness Stadium in Olean, New York.
