The 1931-32 season was the inaugural edition of the Campeonato Preferente de la Liga Mayor del Distrito Federal (English: Preferential Championship of the Major League of the Federal District). It was organized by the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol (FMF), replacing the "Campeonato de Primera Fuerza" after the cancelation of the 1930-31 season. It had 8 participating teams and all matches were played in Mexico City.
