[edit]- 2 June – Frederik III gave 20 Danish-Dutch peasants the rights to settle at Allégade, founding the settlement of "Ny Amager" (New Amager) or "Ny Hollænderby" (New Dutchman-town) in what would later become known as Frederiksberg.
