- Only 10 more people voted compared to last year? What was all that nonsense about people being afraid to vote? I didn't bother voting this year because the whole takeover was a complete waste of time, and is totally against the way we normally do things. Majorly talk 16:49, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

- Arbitration elections present an attractive nuisance to sockpuppeteers. After the partisan socking that surrounded John Vandenberg's candidacy in 2008, it was a surprise that things switched to closed voting this year. More eyes = a good thing. Durova386 19:52, 22 December 2009 (UTC)
