Too late to mention here, but it is noteworthy that Matt Cutts (Google's link spam expert) welcomes the decision ("for the present, I think it’s the right call: the incentive to create spammy links on Wikipedia has been massively reduced"), while cautiously prodding for Wikipedia to "find ways to remove nofollow from links that are more trusted": http://www.mattcutts.com/blog/what-did-i-miss-last-week/ Regards, High on a tree 12:55, 23 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
