Have started alphabetizing the "To Be Written" section. Will continue until it's done. See what happens when una chica loca joins the project? 13:16, 7 November 2006 (UTC)13:16, 7 November 2006 (UTC)~~ Chicaneo 11:45, 4 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

El Malcriado

[edit]

El Malcriado is listed under to-do, in an arts-publication context. Unless i'm screwing up the spelling, El Malcriado (unionism) was (in English and i think Spanish) a pub circulated by UFW to at least Anglo supporters in the eastern US (e.g. grape-boycott chain-supermarket picketers -- Friends of the UFW??). It may contribute to notability that October League organizers said around the late 1970s that

  • El Malcriado (unionism) had come to be dominated by its adherents (or by veterans of The Call (Marxism), which would amount to the same thing), and
  • these staffers (or perhaps the entire staff who were not immune to suspicion of greater loyalty to OL/Call) had been purged.

To Do List Clean Up & Organization

[edit]

I need help with cleaning up & organizing the To-Do List. It seems quite a few articles have been written and can now be moved over to the main page and categorized in the appropriate list. Also, perhaps we could categorize the to do list the way we have categorized the main page "La Historia", "Los Criminales" etc. Thanks Chicaneo (talk) 12 july 2010

Adding diacritical marks.

[edit]

What is going on with all the changes being made in articles (and their titles) by adding accents and tildes to proper names? Wikipedia guidelines are pretty clear on this. See Wikipedia:Naming_conventions_(use_English)#Modified_letters. It is very annoying to me as a copy editor to see these mistakes in spelling: I am always impelled to dive in and correct them, and that is just a waste of time. In some instances I have had to ask an administrator for help in renaming (moving) an entire page to one with the correct spelling. I hope the people in this project can find a solution to this (apparent) wave of name changes. Thank you. GeorgeLouis (talk) 18:10, 27 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
