League Statistics
Hi all, I'm working on one or two pages within this task force and have struggled greatly to source accurate league / cup stats. Does anyone know of any reliable sources, especially in this instance for Spanish football? Thanks, Liam E. Bekker (talk) 12:05, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- What league(s) Liam E. Bekker? Hmlarson (talk) 18:04, 25 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Hmlarson, I'm looking for women's La Liga stats in particular . Liam E. Bekker (talk) 04:58, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- Liam E. Bekker Do any of these help?
- * Ogol
- * Soccerway
- * SportStats
- * SoccerStats
- It doesn't look like they have individual player stats available though. Hmlarson (talk) 17:57, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- The league website has some additional stats:

- This is not uncommon for a lot of women's leagues unfortunately + it's frustrating. Send the league and/or stats website a message. Their attendance figures in recent years --> 👍 Should we start a project initiative for this league similar to W-League? Hmlarson (talk) 18:24, 26 May 2017 (UTC)
- Hi Hmlarson, sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for the above links, I haven't been able to get the individual player stats I need but I'll likely use them in future for other articles. Do you think a project would get the same level of response as the Aussie league? European football (in general) hasn't quite reached the same interest level in women's football as the US and Australia. Liam E. Bekker (talk) 13:25, 2 June 2017 (UTC)
- Liam E. Bekker I started an initiative here: Wikipedia:WikiProject Football/Women's football task force/Initiatives/La Liga Femenina. Under the Resources section, I have started adding news sources that cover the league and can be used to reinforce WP:GNG for player articles. Anyone interested is welcome to contribute to the lists, adding references + resources, or creating articles. The key is to ensure any article is adequately referenced to meet GNG.
