Template to the Smothsonian web
[edit]I suggest a template to link to a page in the Smithsonian web.
For example: {{SInst|orrorin-tugenensis}} would link to :
https://humanorigins.si.edu/evidence/human-fossils/species/orrorin-tugenensis 147.84.197.175 (talk) 11:31, 10 October 2024 (UTC)
- I have a similar concern. Why is there no template for the Art Inventories Catalog? The entries for artworks in SIRIS are some of the most helpful and informative database entries on art available, but there's no easy, shortened way to link to them without getting a huge url that is less than helpful. All we need is a way to link to the control number, such as
{{SIRIS|ID}}
, where ID=89810558, which would return this entry for Rust Red Hills. Viriditas (talk) 22:06, 25 October 2024 (UTC)
