What is an image
[edit]First question what is an image and what is an icon Gnevin (talk) 23:38, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
- An image is a visual representation of anything. It's very broad. That's part of the problem. An icon is an image. Any further specification describing what the MOS means by "icon" is subjective and arbitrary. If you ask me, I'd say any image smaller than 3 lines of text (not including white space) that identifies or symbolizes a group, nation, organization, or movement is an icon for the purpose of this MOS. Whatever is used, you'd have to get consensus on, and then prepare to have it endlessly challenged. Oicumayberight (talk) 01:00, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
