GAR is not a vote and other comments

I want to comment briefly on the close of this reassessment. Community GAR is not a vote: see the WP:Good article reassessment/archiving for guidelines on closing a reassessment (click on the show link for full advice). My own analysis of the consensus here is that multiple editors have given reasons why the article does not meet the criteria and their views have received some support. An article editor offered to fix the article, but it hasn't been fixed in a reasonable time period. One other reviewer has argued that the article would be okay if the lead were fixed, but the lead has not been fixed. I regard this as consensus to delist, hence do not disagree with the decision, but I personally would have waited a few more days before making such a decision. Geometry guy 21:24, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
