Is there any way we can know what the millionth article was? Kidicarus222 23:20, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

and what if it's something that's gonna get fast deleted? --Krsont 23:24, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to know the one millionth article as well. (Cardsplayer4life 23:26, 1 March 2006 (UTC))[reply]

OK, apparently it's Jordanhill railway station. --Krsont 23:35, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

There were a few people going for it. From the Edit logs I can see that:

User:Bkwillwm was doing Environmental issues in Bulgaria and other countries
User:Pseudomembrane was doign a series of dining rooms
User:Nach0king was doing a series of railway staions
User:SimonLyall was doing "19XX in New Zealand" type articles.
User:BorgHunter was doign a series of baseball players
User:Dawson was doign a series of National Cemetery articles
User:Bogdangiusca was doing some Romania geography articles.
User:Daniel Bush was doing various articles
User:Emijrp was doing a series of placenames in Spain
User:Marudubshinki was doing a number of articles related to financial scandals and arms smuggling

and User:Nach0king got lucky. - SimonLyall 23:39, 1 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Removing hyphen

[edit]

In the first paragraph under the heading "About Wikipedia", a hyphen should be removed, and the text should say "collaboratively edited". See Wikipedia:Manual of Style#Hyphens, sub-subsection 3, point 4. -- Wavelength (talk) 22:40, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:1m-PR-en → ? – Anyone want to take a crack at renaming this page? It was created in 2006, was only edited in 2006, and is apparently about an announcement regarding the 1,000,000th article being created on Wikipedia (and for some reason, this page is also fully edit and move protected). Either way, if there is any intent to find this page, the current title is a bunch of random alphabet soup.
