Location and general description of property.—The railroad of Green Bay & Western Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in the States of Wisconsin and Minnesota. The owned mileage extends in a general westerly direction from Green Bay, Wis., through the central part of that State to East Winona, Minn., a distance of 212.031 miles, with branches from Scandinavia to Iola, Plover to Stevens Point, Biron Junction to Biron, and Onalaska to La Crosse, all in the State of Wisconsin, aggregating 18.783 miles. The total length of the main line and branches is 230.814 miles. The carrier also owns yard and side tracks totaling 38.477 miles. Its road thus embraces 269.291 miles of all tracks owned. In Appendix 1 will be found a general description of the property of the carrier.

Location and general description of property.—The railroad of the Kewaunee, Green Bay & Western Railroad Company, hereinafter referred to as the Kewaunee, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in the east-central part of Wisconsin. The owned mileage extends easterly from Green Bay, Wis., to Kewaunee, Wis., a distance of 34.569 miles. The Kewaunee also owns yard and side tracks totaling 9.142 miles. Its road thus embraces 43.711 miles of all tracks owned.
- THE AHNAPEE & WESTERN RAILWAY COMPANY
Location and general description of property.—The railroad of The Ahnapee & Western Railway Company, hereinafter called the Ahnapee, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in the east-central part of Wisconsin. The owned mileage extends northerly from Casco Junction to Sturgeon Bay, both in the State of Wisconsin, a distance of 32.530 miles. The Ahnapee also owns yard and side tracks totaling 6.453 miles. Its road thus embraces 38.983 miles of all tracks owned. In Appendix 1 will be found a general description of the property of the Ahnapee.

Corporate history.—The Ahnapee was incorporated August 18, 1890, under the general laws of the State of Wisconsin, for the purpose of constructing and operating a railroad from a connection with the line of the Kewaunee, through Ahnapee, to Sturgeon Bay. Its principal office is located at Green Bay. The available records indicate that construction work was begun in 1892 and completed in 1894.
Corporate history.—The Kewaunee was incorporated May 19, 1890, under the general laws of the State of Wisconsin, for the purpose of constructing a line of railroad from Green Bay to Kewaunee, both in that State. Its principal office is located at Green Bay. The manner in which the railroad property of the Kewaunee was constructed appears in Appendix 2.
