Wikipedia:Association for Psychological Science's Wikipedia Initiative
Because the general public frequently turns to Wikipedia when seeking information about psychology, psychological scientists have both a social responsibility and a personal stake in ensuring that the information the public receives is complete, accurate, up-to-date and well written. The Association for Psychological Science's Wikipedia Initiative is a call to action by Mahzarin R. Banaji (APS President 2010 – 2011) to encourage its members and their students to become active participants in Wikipedia and to improve its coverage of psychological science.
This task force page serves to provide resources for interested editors, lists the member of this initiative, and supports collaborative opportunities amongst members in this community. You should add your Wikipedia user name to the bottom of this page, so that fellow contributors can see who has joined the initiative.
