Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography/Peer review/Ralph Lyford
I have been working on this article since nearly a year ago and would like to work on getting it upgraded from start status, possibly to GA status in the future. I think it is beyond start class already and needs to be upgraded by an independent editor. Thanks ejly (talk) 20:46, 21 February 2010 (UTC)

I'd say this article is still very much at start class. The biography needs to be fleshed out and written in prose rather than a time line. You'll find some useful information on what sort of sections and information should be included in a full article of this type at Wikipedia:WikiProject Composers#Article structure
The references also need expansion with more accurate bibliographic information and access date, e.g.
- PBS.org, Cincinnati Opera. Accessed 27 February 2010 (rather than simply Who's Dancing Now)
also for the New York Times articles, the titles should not be in all caps.
For a "good article rating", it would probably need references in more scholarly sources as well, but that would depend on how much is available out there. Hope this helps.
