Template:This Date in Baseball History (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

The purpose of this template was to link the this day in Baseball history articles and categorise them in category:Dates in baseball. All the articles have been deleted - see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/June 2 in baseball (second nomination) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/October 2 in baseball. It is therefore now redundant. Thryduulf 02:33, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:User UTB (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

I made a template for a userbox that already existed. (Template:User utbtsc) Chef Ketone 00:42, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy delete G7 Tagged {{db-authora}}. For future reference, if you make a template by mistake you can request its deletion with the {{db-author}} template; there's no need to take it to TfD. --ais523 08:42, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

Template:Planet Infobox/Earth (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Article specific template, should either be substed into the article, or to be absorbed into a generic infobox. AzaToth 01:24, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Article specific templates for very large infoboxes improve usability by avoiding cluttering the article source. There is no requirement to use a generic infobox for everything, and even if there were, that would defeat the purpose by recluttering the article with a huge set of parameters. Dragons flight 03:59, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Move, or subst into article. Please, I don't want to have a whole directory tree underneath "Template:Planet Infobox/" representing all instantiations in articles of Template:Planet Infobox. At least, if this is really really the way to go with transclusions please create Earth/Planet Infobox and transclude that into Earth using {{Earth/Planet Infobox}}, so that if the article gets dumped/moved/whatever the whole tree can be dumped/moved/whatever with it using this query. Specific transclusions for a single article belong to that article. Don't create a whole tree under each template for each article. This is a nightmare to maintain. If this is not acceptable, then move it to template:Planet Infobox Earth (or whatever name you like). --Ligulem 22:27, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Antrotv (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

List of anthropomorphic television shows; as there have been rather a lot, this particular template is huge, and therefore not particularly useful. —tregoweth (talk) 03:20, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Cityrail Station alt 2 (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Unused fork of template:Cityrail Station alt. Uses Wikipedia:hiddenStructure CSS hack. Ligulem 11:41, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Who cares if it uses CSS - that's not a reason for deletion. Anyway, this template has been superceded by another one without a copyrighted logo and with less information in it. So Delete for that reason. (JROBBO 08:28, 13 October 2006 (UTC))[reply]
Please carefully read Wikipedia:hiddenStructure. We do care about that. Don't use hiddenStructure to hide stuff, it is thrown at the clients asking their browsers to not display things, which can fail for all sorts of reasons. We can do better now with m:ParserFunctions. Don't forget, we are all web-masters here. This must be a stupid website that delivers content to clients asking them not to display it. --Ligulem 08:35, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Infobox US Attorney General (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs)

Uses deprecated Wikipedia:hiddenStructure. Fork of Template:Infobox US Cabinet official. Was only used in Janet Reno. Ligulem 12:02, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
