Things To Do
  1. Work on articles that need cleanup.
  2. Create a page for every university and college and add {{infobox University}} for it. See the missing list for those institutions still awaiting articles.
  3. Place {{WikiProject Higher education}} on every related talk page.
  4. Combat boosterism wherever it appears
  5. Ensure all articles, including Featured articles, are consistent with the article guidelines.

The Student Affairs Task Force is a working group of members of WikiProject Universities dedicated to ensuring that all Student Affairs related articles are of high quality and accuracy. Articles in this Task Force's purview are not actual college and university articles, but rather articles that pertain to: student activities, residence life, admissions, orientation, advising, student development, etc. To indicate that an article falls within the scope of this work group, please add the article to the list of articles below and add student affairs=yes to the corresponding {{WikiProject Universities}} template.

Our Goal

[edit]
  • To achieve consistency, quality, comprehensiveness, and accuracy in all Student Affairs related articles. Adequate references and citations will be included.

Current projects

[edit]

Develop a standard of notability for students' union articles

Goals:

  1. Help ensure that our article guidelines are helpful for students' unions articles.
  2. Enforce notability guidelines on these articles by deleting non-notable unions and ensuring notable unions have reliable sources.
  3. Set a precedent for future articles so that we can avoid heated discussions like those in recent memory.

To do list

[edit]
  1. Create a list of all students' union articles here: List of students' union articles
  • Make sure to tag the {{WPUNI}} template with student affairs=yes
