Welcome to the Referees Task Force, a task force of WikiProject Sports and WikiProject Biography. The task force is a group of pages in the "Wikipedia" article namespace which are devoted to the management of a specific topic or family of topics within Wikipedia; and, simultaneously, a group of editors who use those pages to collaborate on encyclopedic work. It is not a place to write encyclopedia articles directly, but a resource to help coordinate and organize the writing and editing of those articles. This group focuses on Referees and other sports officials.

This task force covers all referee articles, with a special focus on biographies of referees, past and present. It can be considered to be a subgroup of the WikiProject Sports and the WikiProject Biography. It covers the referees, umpires, assistant referees and any other official for every sport.
Any article related to this task force should be marked by adding {{WikiProject Referees}} to the articles talk page.
