About the event
[edit]This editathon is one of many events being held in conjunction with the Senate House Library exhibition, Queer Between the Covers: Literature, Queerness, and the Library, which runs from 15 January to 16 June 2018. The event will focus on editing Wikipedia pages about anything to do with LGBTQ literature.

- Sign up
- Create a Wikipedia account - Special:UserLogin/signup
- Bring a laptop (wi-fi will be provided), if you don't have a laptop please contact us about borrowing one.
- Learn about editing if you like: Wikipedia:Tutorial, or Getting started on Wikipedia for more information
- Refreshments will be provided
Agenda

- 10:00 - Introduction to Wikipedia editing, and making your first edits
- 13:00 - Break for lunch
- 14:00 - Hands on editing with one-to-one support from trainers
- 16:30 - Recap what people have been working on during the session
- 17:00 - End

- Carol Ann Duffy, Poet Laureate since 2009. Article is decent, but there are almost no articles on her individual poems or collections. For example, Heaney's District and Circle which won the T. S. Eliot Prize in 2006 has an article, but not Duffy's Rapture which won in 2005.
- Strato's Boyish Muse, we do have an article on Straton of Sardis
- In the Dreamy Afternoon, poetry collection from John Gambril Nicholson
- The Sink of Solitude, work by Beresford Egan
- Poems & Poèmes: Autres Alliances, poetry collection from Natalie Clifford Barney
- Humphrey Lancaster, wrote several novels for The Fortune Press
