- I do not believe that an artist's impression of a proposed interchange meets WP:NFCC#8 (significance). A link from the article to the web site that hosts this image, [1] or [2], should suffice. —Remember the dot (talk) 01:56, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- On the contrary, this image demonstrates the new design of the new interchange. These sort of images have been used to demonstrate new development on the Sydney rail system for some time, see Image:Macquarie_University_Station_Platform_Proposed.jpg,Image:Macquarie_Park_Station_Proposed.jpg,Image:Franklin Road Station Proposed.jpg. I have updated the image description to include a more detailed rationale/significance. Muzzamo 02:05, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

- I agree - the station is NOT a crystal ball nor it is speculation. It is VERIFIABLE and DOCUMENTED. I don't think the reason for deletion by Angr was appropriate. --Pikablu0530 08:25, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

- User uploaded multiple screenshots for MINERVA (mod) licensed as free software. However, the uploader seems to have confused free as in beer with free as in freedom, as Minerva is not licensed under a free license, but is available free of charge. Thus, these images are non-free, and the MINERVA (mod) article only needs one screenshot WP:NFCC#3a. Also included in this nom are:

The uploader is just showing off the game... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.248.150.241 (talk) 22:02, 9 November 2007 (UTC)
- I've gone ahead and deleted the images, as the licensing is wrong if the game is indeed not free as you say, Phirazo. The image that remains on the main article, however, does not have a fair use rationale, and I have tagged it as such. -- RG2 05:25, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- I fixed it. One screenshot is fine, and that one is actually from the author's webpage. --Phirazo 01:30, 12 November 2007 (UTC)

- Delete, but not for the above reasons. The propaganda is the artist's, not the uploader's or the encyclopedia's, and the artist is notable enough for his own article, which is where the image is being used. If we have an article on a propagandist, it is defensible to use his propaganda to illustrate his article. However, the article does not have enough discussion of this particular image to satisfy WP:NFCC#8. —Angr 19:23, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete I disagree with the nominator's reasons. By fair use principle, the image cannot be used in wikipedia as propagada. It may be used only to illustrate the artist. And IMO it is a very good illustration of sickness and brain damage of this artist. Accopmanied with good commentary it is quite informative. Nevertheless I afree that free images are available, so this one fails fair use rationale. `'Míkka 19:26, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Namely? Image:Forgiveness2.jpg is labeled as being "no rights reserved", but gives no indication why we should believe it's so. The link provided as the source is broken. —Angr 19:32, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- comment - (1) I fail to see the free images repeatedly mentioned for replacement. (2) being that it is a "counter-POV" to the peace-activist impression made by the hugging arab and israeli, i feel there is more than room to give a single example of this nature to his body of work, which is not peaceful at all; some would say anti-semitic (another recurring theme is that calling him that is because of inability to take criticism). (3) i believe there is a proper mention in the body of the article regarding his style of hateful work to world leaders, ariel sharon being the most prominent in volume of such material, but there is room to give more space to others also. JaakobouChalk Talk 20:07, 5 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete If this (multiple!) "image" is offered for the purpose of illustrating the artist's content and style, I would support only a single representative image (with proper rights) plus an external link to a legitimate site that displays more. The existing format strikes me as excessive. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, not a free-of-charge gallery. -- Deborahjay 06:25, 6 November 2007 (UTC)

- Comment - For some reason, someone gave a link for this image in the hebrew wikipedia Village pump. Liransh 13:44, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- If I'm parsing the image page properly, one of our editors took 5 images and stitched them together to make this composite. Also, none of the 5 are still available at the original links, and the one I was able to find offers no evidence that it is legitimately available in the public domain. We need to operate on the assumption that the originals are all still under copyright. Since this is a stitched together image, it does not illustrate the original artist's style properly, individual images as the artist created them do. This image has no hope of meeting WP:NFCC#8 even with adequate commentary it would always be better replaced with separate images as the artist created them. (A more than sufficient quantity of such images is available on Commons.) Since it isn't in the public domain or under an adequate license, and can not meet WP:NFCC, deletion is correct. GRBerry 19:26, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- comment - 4 out of the five have been found with copyright free tags since this section was opened and have been uploaded on commons. the 5th one has been recently re-found on infomedia and i'm currently searching for a copyright free statement on it. therefore, beying that concerns regarding copyright were now answered, i'm suggesting to close this thread and keep the image up. also, the images are not used for propaganda purpouses, they are used to illustrate the work of a propagandist -- Carlos Latuff -- big difference.
