2003 Atlantic hurricane season
[edit]Yep, it's a biggie. But, 6 are FA's, all of them are GA's but one, and the one (Isabel) is currently a GA nominee. There might be some little errors in some of them, but I believe that it is a good featured topic. Of course, that is because I did all of that save two (pardon for bragging, but this has been my project for about eight months). So.... They are all interconnected via a button bar on the bottom of all of the pages. It has a lead article. Some might say there is a gap because some of the depressions don't have articles. However, the depressions without articles are listed in the main article, as there isn't enough info to split them off. Here goes nothing! Hurricanehink (talk) 05:27, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Also, could one of you review Isabel, if possible? I believe it is up to GA status. Hurricanehink (talk) 13:48, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Update- Isabel is now a FA. Hurricanehink (talk) 00:38, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support, quite strongly, and someone send Hink a check, or have NOAA send him a job offer. All of these are heading to the FAC chopping block sooner or later. Titoxd(?!?) 05:35, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- For the record:
- FAs: Bill, Claudette, Erika, Fabian, Henri, Isabel, Juan (7)
- GAs: 2003 Atlantic hurricane season, Ana, Danny, TD 9, Grace, Kate, Larry, Mindy, Nicholas, Odette, Peter
Conditionalsupport, subject to Isabel getting GA or better [edit: it now has :-) ]. Great work here - I can see more such topics coming from the efforts of WP:WPTC. Tompw (talk) 12:29, 14 February 2007 (UTC)- Support. Why not? Isabel looks like it's gonna be a GA soon. icelandic hurricane #12 (talk) 13:46, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support The topic is well defined with no obvious gaps. I do expect a slight problem with Isabel becoming a GA, but that's because of the huge backlog not any flaw in the article. I'm not familiar enough with the GA process so I don't want to get involved there. Good work. Jay32183 20:15, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - You're supposed to go in order at GAC, but you technically don't have to, so, as I'm not affiliated with WP:TROPIC, I made you guys a present. Isabel is now GA. --PresN 16:31, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Cool, thanks. Hurricanehink (talk) 19:53, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support. Being my first FA vote, i'll just vote without an opinion.Mitchazenia 20:51, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support and comment- Isabel is at FAC now. --PresN 07:36, 16 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support. Tons of good articles. Deserves this nomination. Jake52 07:01, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- Conditional Support, don't do all the years since 1990 ;-) Circeus 23:00, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support, especially with Isabel at FAC now. --Coredesat 23:59, 19 February 2007 (UTC)
- Comment - Isabel is a Featured Article now. Titoxd(?!?) 03:24, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support — looks good. — Deckiller 13:02, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support - time to promote this one i think.... —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Witty lama (talk • contribs) 14:49, February 24, 2007 (UTC).
- Not yet; I see no reason not to give it the full two weeks. It's good, but it isn't a speedy promote candidate. --Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 22:19, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Support - Looks like it meets all of the requirements. The minor storms have enough on them in the main article to avoid being a gap, though it would be nice if they could be expanded to their own little articles one day. --Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 22:22, 24 February 2007 (UTC)
- Major, overly extreme Support. To not make this a featured topic is a crime against humanity. Everything is either GA or FA, and that's out of 18 articles. Jerichi~Profile~Talk~ 02:00, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
- Pass - --Arctic Gnome (talk • contribs) 03:23, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
