Reason: Pittas are difficult to see and photograph, but much sought after by birdwatchers. With the exception of the male photo also currently nominated, there are no other photos on commons of this species. This is also true for most Pitta species. This, and the complimentary male shot add a lot to the previously unillustrated article, which I expanded a bit.
