- Weak oppose. Distracting foreground elements, lowish resolution and DOF. --Dschwen 15:36, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose for the distracting foreground needles. J Milburn (talk) 15:52, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Withdrawing before anyone votes in favor and I won't be able to anymore - Missed the needles and they do look like they could've been moved before photoed. I play the oops defense. --I'ḏ♥One 15:57, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Comment I don't think it's so bad. The problem with declaring images as easy to replace is that we rarely have anyone go out to actually try and replace them. In the end, people will always complain about something - either the needles are in the way, or they've been artificially removed, rendering the specimen unrepresentative. BTW, according to my understanding, you can always withdraw - it doesn't depend on how many support votes there are. Papa Lima Whiskey (talk) 20:13, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Rror was able to take a good photo that, if you'll excuse the pun, lets you see the tree for the cones and not the leaves, but I would've passed it over if I'd noticed the pine needles obstructing the subject (shut up and avoid as many complaints ahead of time as possible YK, wasn't prepared for the needles). Someone can support it, close it or renominate it if they'd like. --I'ḏ♥One 21:57, 23 August 2010 (UTC)
- Oppose To busy with the foreground and background leaves. Greg L (talk) 03:07, 24 August 2010 (UTC)
