Notability

See WP:MUSICBIO for what a musical performer needs to have achieved before having a Wikipedia article. Unless the artist has an article, articles about his albums are likely to be deleted.

Also read WP:NALBUMS: even if the artist is notable enough to have an article, it doesn't follow that his albums are - Wikipedia doesn't set out to be a database of track-listings, and an album article needs to show notability for the album, by means of references to independent comment on it.
