No, he just told me in a GAN that he will have to make the changes when he gets back. Unfortunately, I haven't seen of him in weeks. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]09:49, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, what happened to him? He's on Facebook but I don't have a profile there. I searched using his mail address, but I could not see his activity or anything else :( Novice7 (talk) 10:08, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I had to remove much of the content because it fails WP:PLOT, going into excessive detail without sources. And even with sources, you have to be careful and only summarize the video. Otherwise, good work on the article. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]22:48, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the message ^^^ and thanks for what you left me on my talk-page. It really touched my heart and soul (as Beyonce usually says). If i am not wrong, you are the second person after Nathan who has written what the latter wrote to me a few months ago. It feels nice to know that someone knows how much i work not only on the recent articles but on all the Beyonce articles. (I know the sentence structure is looking awkward. Lol) ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)02:36, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hey WP wassup dude? Hello to Jivesh to if you still like me. WAts been going on? Sorry I left you in the dark with the Not Afraid copy-edit. Is it still available? — Legolas(talk2me)10:01, 7 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If your admission of having made a mistake can only be expressed as "I must have stated that comment poorly", then fine.
As for adding something in an archived discussion, I know what the rules are; however, it surprised me to see that the comment I made before the discussion was closed was not there. I assumed something had gone wrong at the time of saving and replaced it.
You edited the contribution I made on the Eminem associated acts section and deleted Royce da 5'9" from that list. You did mention that Bad Meets Evil covers Royce, but Em and Royce have collaborated even outside the BME project. So I think it's necessary that Royce should be in the associated acts list.
We typically do not add solo artists to that list unless the person has influenced Eminem's career largely. Royce has not largely influenced Eminem's career to the extent that people like Dr. Dre have. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]00:53, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, who put up those rules? I go to any other artist's page, and it just shows their collaborations, not people who influenced him. That's why it's called "associated acts". It's supposed to be the people he associated with. Otherwise, if it were "influenced by", then it would make sense. But it's not. --BoBjOnEsPiE (Send me a message) 13:56, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Eminem's done songs with T.I., Nicki Minaj, Slaughterhouse, Dido, etc. Listing them all would clutter the infobox. Clearly other infoboxes you are referring to are wrong. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:23, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not saying that you should clutter up the associated acts section with people he collaborated with once or twice. I'm saying add people who didn't influence him, but collaborated with him many times. So Royce da 5'9" and 50 Cent are the only two other people that are missing from that section.

Another discussion, this time regarding "Love on Top"
2. Efe elaborates on this and makes an edit to show you how it is done. Ellipses are used when parts are omitted in the middle of the quotation, not in the beginning, where it is purely redundant.
3. Take a look at Love the Way You Lie in edit mode. Look at the dates and ellpses. Notice there are (ampersand)nbsp(semicolon)s? These are invisible, but prevent the group of words and numbers linked by the nbsps from being broken to start a new line. It's hard to eplain. WP:NBSP.
4. Do not specify how many pixels an image should have, as you should allow user preferences to set the size of pictures in articles, not your own custom.
6. What page do you get the liner notes? Specify in the Template:Cite album-notes or whatever template you use to format the reference.
Lol, I prefer to keep myself anonymous on Wiki. People here call me WP or Penguin. You can coin any nickname for me you wan,t even if it is offensive. ;) —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]14:41, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I wish I could know your real name. I would love to call you Stan after my favorite Eminem song. Would you liek it? :) And nice points you explained above to Tomica. Also, does TEOG needs further reviewing? I saw almost all the points were addressed by DAP, I did the rest. Will you take a look? This shit is laying idle too long. All my fault though. — Legolas(talk2me)15:40, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Isn't Stan what fanboys are called? Anyway, sure you can call me that. I'll go ahead and close that review. I don't even pay attention to 1-week-on-hold restrictions anymore. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]15:46, 13 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, well your total dedication to Eminem and your wonderful craftsmanship over it makes me wanna call you that. I've never seen a more talented newbie than you WP (or Stan). Lol, thanks for passing "The Edge of Glory". And if you think updating the article history, I have to update all my status for the GA. I lose count of it, really. @Legolas? What do you mean? C'mon, admit it, the article is still well under-prepared. I'm too anal over the prose of LTWYL. PS I know the folk you are talking about, but man is he a master of prose. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:34, 14 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May I get your input about a dispute regarding sources and music genres? A certain editor User:Dan56 has introduced the term "downtempo" as a music genre into the Take Care article. Upon my reversion of the term, which almost resulted in 3RR (I admit, I should know better), the user provided only two very vague sources the he believes support his claim. The first, a Rolling Stone review, makes a single mention of the term "[the album] blurs hip-hop, R&B and downtempo dance music"; another article, The AVClub, writes, without even mentioning "downtempo": "Crafted primarily around the oblique production of Drakes native Toronto—all rippling synths, distant pulses, and purposeful empty space—his follow-up album is plenty downbeat, but its also gorgeous." Do you believe that these quotes are strong evidence to support his claim that "downbeat" is a musical genre, and not just the tempo/pace/mood of the songs, as I argue? Orane(talk)06:15, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
If I am correct, downbeat and downtempo are synonymous. Downtempo can actually mean both an electronic sub-genre and a miscellaneous piece with a low tempo, primarily the former. It's really difficult to determine which meaning is being used in the contexts of the sources. Sorry that's all I can say. You might want to seek someone with better expertise as I have little to no knowledge about music composition. ;-) —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]10:45, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input. The downbeat article actually contains nothing but original research, so I don't know. Either way, I've decided to move on from the matter. Thanks again. Orane(talk)04:40, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Oooh, so happy :)... But, I want to ask you something ... should the number up than 9 be written numerically, or eventually with text. I think that they should be in written (textual form)... What do you think? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?14:43, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am going to say numerals, because that is what the Manual of Style says, I believe. And see my latest comment at FAC page. It's about the prose. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]15:02, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
So the sentence (in the lead) The song reached number sixteen on the UK Singles Chart, and number eighteen on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart ... should be changed to The song reached number 16 on the UK Singles Chart, and number 18 on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart. Right? I saw the comment, I am thinking of ways how can I resolve that prose. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?15:06, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Penguin one more question. Am I able to create External links section in "Rehab" and add the link for the music video. Or it is forbidden when article is this close to become a FA? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?10:35, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What I told you. There is one oppose ! According to Journalist there are some prose issues. I resolved some of them, however, the other are too complicated for me. I asked Baffle gab to help me, however, you can also do it If you know how. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?10:34, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
After performing a show in New York City, Rihanna and Timberlake went to a studio where he began writing "Rehab" for her.[1] Hannon Lane co-wrote and co-produced the single.[2] Timbaland also recruited the help of American pop singer and musician Justin Timberlake, with whom he had previous collaborated... Do you really think that this prose makes sense now ?— Tomica1111 • Question Existing?11:08, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Wow, that was horrible. :/ I guess you have to be a bit creative, because I am not good at addressing issues in articles I have not written. :( —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:35, 22 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I made some changes in the chart performance. Check them and feel free to c/e. Btw, Journalist also pointed me to write how "Rehab" charted in a comparison with the other GGGB singles. Can you give me some advice how to do it. And what do you think about what I have responded to him? It doesn't sound rude right? — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?16:39, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That's a good idea. Just make sure you don't start talking about every position of every week. That gets boring. I never found reading about charts that interesting if you ask me. ;-)
Hey Penguin, how are you these days?:) Can you help me with the "Rehab" prose, posted by Journalist and Legolas on the talkpage? I really don't have an idea how to progress it and If I don't do it soon, the FAC will be closed as a result of non activity. — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?10:41, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Annnnddd ... I am not angry about Loud, however, you could wait for some time. However, "Rehab" is my main preocupation at the moment. So I expect some Rehab prose editing by you to make my day better :) ! — Tomica1111 • Question Existing?14:40, 30 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Para 1: Development and background as well as release
Para 2: Synopsis and pop culture refs
Para 3: Reception, comparisons and themes
Remember, because the final paragraph will most likely be the longest, it is important to only have brief and very important details only in the lead. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]19:46, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Removed the nomination template. You don't just place it and leave it there without creating a FAC page. Or in this case, it was deleted. Lol. And take my word, get it copy-edited and polished. You have WP:PRs and Wikipedia:WikiProject_Guild_of_Copy_Editors/Requests/Potential_Featured_Articles. For the latter, more experienced users will look at your article, so it's a safer approach for FA-to-bes. Don't feel that the article is ready, because new things will be raised in this FAC that were unnoticed in FAC1, 2, and 3. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]23:00, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't. I nominated it like days ago, and Nikki withdrew it because a time period of 2 weeks hadn't elapsed from my last FAC encounter, and FAC/4 of S&M was deleted. I don't know why it was still left on the article's talk page. Calvin • TalkThatTalk23:04, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't know it was still there. But I wouldn't nominate for FAC without creating the review page, I've been through the process enough times to know what to do. Calvin • TalkThatTalk23:07, 17 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I've learned from it. I think you should remain patient. After all, Calvin works hard on Rihanna articles. It is good though you are giving it a good review. Not many of the Rihanna GAs have gotten thorough reviews. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]17:43, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
We are not trying to offend you, Calvin. :'( It's just that you were making references to other articles, which is WP:WAXy. We all respect you as a hard worker, but Jivesh knows what he's doing. He's been around longer than any of us. Actually, Jivesh, I found that on atrl.net. I guess you found it first though, lol. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:09, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
(edit conflict) I fail to see how I don't listen. I always do what others tell me, and if I don't understand something or think something should not be changed, I tell the reviewer. I don't ignore what the reviewer says. Calvin • TalkThatTalk18:12, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Calvin, how can you be so negative. Did you see these : But that's something natural of human beings. and Calvin works hard on Rihanna articles. Please stop it now Calvin.
(edit conflict) Anyone can have an off day Jivesh, just like you did the other day. I'm tired and I'm trying to resolve issues on Te Amo, but things are just being bounced back at me without any points for help, like the reference list you just gave. I'm not trying to be awkward or annoying, I'm just asking about things. Calvin • TalkThatTalk18:22, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
What i did last time was a bad joke. This is different. Sometimes i get the impression you do not read well. You just post "but... It is not that way... No" .... etc. Listen Calvin, if you are tired, take a day off. Sleep well. Wake up tomorrow, and if you have time, then tackle the issues with a fresh mind. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)18:25, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
It depends on the question and the experience you have. 14 GAs speak for themselves. Now it depends how they were handled (?). Asking questions is not bad but every time i review your articles, i see the same mistakes occurring. You should learn from the mistakes other correct for you. Please Calvin, heed my advice, go to bed. Come back tomorrow. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)18:34, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Redirected by Esanchez. I am completely against the creation of a separate article for LTWYL's vid. The article would be too short, and would have only three sections of prose. Thanks for the notice :). —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]18:44, 19 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Question [ Not the beginning of "Independent Women (Part 1) ]
Lol, how about SL(PAROI) then? And yes, I keep that page tucked away to keep myself from looking arrogant, lol. As for the soon-to-be-FA, it's looking good, really. The prose could go through some c/e. Dare I suggest WP:GOCEFA for that? After all, I'm not a FA level copy editor. And Baffle gab looks like a very skilled copy editor, too bad he's busy though. I'm also suspicious about some souces, such as PopMatters, Sputnikmusic and Urlesque. Great job, though. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]11:14, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Well all those sources have already been debated in the previous two FACs and Nikki agreed on keeping them. So what i will do is just a copy-paste again. Lol. Hmmm, SL(PAROI) is flawless. Penguin, does that mean, the prose is still looking bad? ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)11:18, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly not, Jivesh. The prose can't be bad after all these months. However, it's a good recommendation to polish it while you still can. "Oppose" is a gross word, isn't it? —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]11:22, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Do you know why i have not nominated I Am... Sasha Fierce' for GA yet? Because i prefer it remains a B-Class rather than having a reviewer who tells me to remove 55 Kb from the article. Thanks for that link. ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)11:38, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sincerely, i do not know and i did not put a lot of blablabla. That era was so good. Everything was handled properly. That length was inevitable with all the charts, reviews, and awards. What should i remove according to you? ★Jivesh 1205★ (talk / ♫♫Give 4 a try!!!♫♫)11:45, 20 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
First, you have to prepare a hook (a small yet interesting fact) that starts with "...that". It has to be directly cited in the article prose and the source must be reliable. The article must be newly created (The article cannot be older than five days) or must have been expanded 5x the previous prose size (no more than five days ago). See WP:WIADYK for the criteria. Then, follow the instructions at Wikipedia:DYKT#How_to_post_a_new_nomination to create your nom page and to transclude it into WP:DYKT. Hope that helps. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]11:59, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Oh right okay. Thanks. I think that's a bit shit that you have to do it within 5 days of the article being created. Most articles take a lot longer than that to get up to size. And what did you mean by "manners" ? Calvin • TalkThatTalk12:02, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just don't see how you are mean't to create a decent one within 5 days. What if something better comes up? It's like, I could have done one for the Music video of We Found Love, but it's gone over the 5 days. Calvin • TalkThatTalk12:29, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Five days is plenty to create a decent article. Plus, Calvin, DYK reviewers enjoy short and interesting articles rather than long and boring ones (Not Afraid is the latter). You could try it with the "Talk That Talk" song article. —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]12:31, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Ahh okay. That's if there is anything decent worth mentioning. We Found Love is her only recent new article which I think has anything which could have been used, with all the music video comparisons and being her 11th number one and all. If TTT (song) hits number one, then that could be used. Calvin • TalkThatTalk13:35, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
LTWYL (along with "Like a Prayer", "Single Ladies" and "Born This Way") is one of the longest song articles on Wikipedia. It has 37 KB of prose (or 37,000 characters). Per MOS:LEAD, an article above 30,000 characters of prose can have three to four paragraphs in the lead. Plus, the article has so much to cover (i.e. composition, recording, writing, reception, music videos, covers, sequel, performances...). —WP:PENGUIN·[ TALK ]16:45, 21 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I know. Lol. Penguin, i just wanted to tell you that i know sometimes my way of writing gives the impression that i am being aggressive but trust me, i am not like that. I mean when i write, i don't have the kind of face as if i would have eaten you alive if you were in front of me. Hmmm, you understand? Jivesh 1205 (talk)17:56, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks Penguin. You know, i try my best to write things well but if ever you think i sound rude, please tell me rather than keeping it for yourself as doing so may affect our friendship. And i do not want that to happen. Okay. *Wiki hugs* Jivesh 1205 (talk)18:08, 24 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Fair enough. But whenever you are ready, just nudge me ;) Also, the article looks amazing. My writing is probably not as good as yours, but if you ever need anything, just say the word. Orane(talk)07:55, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I started adding reviews and some minor re-arrangement. I think the synopsis could be expanded further, and production details are emerging. Stan, I think we need to move it to the main space in lieu of this. If further details come regarding the EP, we might have to split it up from the special. Try and see if you can find the ratings for the special. Happy Thanksgiving. — Legolas(talk2me)14:50, 25 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
