Spelling

[edit]

The correct spelling is Sadleir, as shown on his burial memorial in Stand on.Please assist in correction of spelling his name in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2001:8004:1100:BD37:D8D8:CEB3:121F:A690 (talk) 14:39, 30 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, you must link the page because there can be hundreds of people named Sadleir (Sadler). If you're talking about this one Samuel Sadler, I looked over some sources and it says that his name is Sadler. If this is the wrong page, make sure to link it. Requesting some article expansion support

[edit]

Greetings

It seems you have been contributing to east Europe related articles.

Hello, I already did an edit, it's small, I repaired some citations. Wikiminds34 (talk) 07:43, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The tool had an error, it combined words, I'll try to fix it later Wikiminds34 (talk) 08:27, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Wikiminds34: Thanks for your valuable contributions to the article. Please keep updating whenever you come across any relevant references. Looking forward to your continued support to the article in times to come. Warm regards Bookku (talk) 08:53, 23 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. There are valid reasons why the above project(s) only use simple citing for each of their entries. Due to the massive volume of entries, page coding using full cites becomes way too bulky and badly affects page-loading times, especially on devices with limited resources. Therefore your recent edits to archived months in 2020 were reverted, in line with our currently held consensus. You are welcome to pop over to the current talk page to discuss this policy, where any of the regular editors will be happy to engage with you. Best wishes. Ref (chew)(do) 00:20, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I understand! I will try to make good edits in the future, I knew it was a mistake because the pages were too big. I wasn't sure if I should revert them. Wikiminds34 (talk) 05:09, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your understanding on this. The idea of upgrading to full cite is a good one, but doesn't fit well with the sheer size of all our finished pages. Wishing you more good editing in the future. Ref (chew)(do) 07:19, 8 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ștefan Holban

[edit]

Hi, just to mention that if, as you say, you've created the article Ștefan Holban by translating it from the Romanian one, you should attribute that as the source, per WP:TFOLWP.

The article also needs references. I know there is one offline source listed in the bibliography section, but that's not cited in the body text, and in any case isn't on its own enough.

Cheers, --DoubleGrazing (talk) 13:25, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I've added a single website as a reference, there isn't anything that I could find besides that website. All of them are for another person that has the same name. Is it good that I added this on the talk page? "Content in this edit is translated from the existing Romanian Wikipedia article at ro:Ștefan Holban; see its history for attribution." Wikiminds34 (talk) 15:00, 21 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

FYI

[edit]

Hello W. Thank you so much for helping to fix bare urls. One thing though - if you could remember to remove the "cleanup bare url template" if your work has fixed them all it would save those of us who monitor the Category:All articles with bare URLs for citations from having to examine an article where the urls have already been fixed. Here is an example. Many thanks again and have a great week. MarnetteD|Talk 02:12, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ref filling

[edit]

Hi, I've just seen several article in a row that you fill the bare reference for but didn't remove the maintenance template for after. (Example Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport where I just removed {{Cleanup bare URLs}}). Please remember to remove these after you have addresses them so it's better for readers and is no longer flagged in Category:Articles with bare URLs for citations . Cheers KylieTastic (talk) 17:42, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I'm trying to remove them but I forget, in some cases there's a PDF that's empty and can't be filled. I'll try to be more careful. Wikiminds34 (talk) 18:41, 31 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Mookencheril Cherian Joseph, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amazon. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Awesome

[edit]

I just came across V. S. Natarajan while searching in NPF and thought to make it in a better way. It was nice and super fast job you have done in between. DreamSparrow Chat 08:21, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, I really don't know what are the chances to do something like this. It's a tough job to add titles/names/dates, etc. to references. I'm trying to help Wikipedia in every way I can, to make it better. Full citations look better than those who don't have a title. Wikiminds34 (talk) 08:32, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

A barnstar for you!
