Welcome to the Wikipedia!
[edit]Welcome to the Wikipedia, Webbrg! And thanks for cleaning up the povish commentary added to the September 11, 2001 attacks article. Hope you enjoy editing here and becoming a Wikipedian! Here are a few perfunctory tips to hasten your acculturation into the Wikipedia experience:
- Take a look at the Wikipedia Tutorial and Manual of Style.
- When you have time, you can peruse The five pillars of Wikipedia, and assume good faith, but keep in mind the unique style you brought to the Wiki!
- Always keep the notion of NPOV in mind, be respectful of others' POV, and remember your perspective on the meaning of neutrality is invaluable!
- If you need any help, post your question at the Help Desk.
- Explore, be bold in editing, and, above all else, have fun!
And some odds and ends: Boilerplate text, Brilliant prose, Cite your sources, Civility, Conflict resolution, How to edit a page, How to write a great article, Pages needing attention, Peer review, Policy Library, Utilities, Verifiability, Village pump, Wikiquette, and you can sign your name on any page by typing 4 tildes: ~~~~.
Best of luck, Webbrg, and most importantly, have fun! Ombudsman 10:07, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
Bad manners
[edit]Why do you insult the citizens of other countries? Imagine someone had a user box like yours on the EU on the US or Nepal. It's just bad manners. ROGNNTUDJUU! 20:07, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
South Dakota
[edit]As much as I loathe your politics and disagree with your editing tactics, I nonetheless think that your heart's in the right place with wanting to even out bias regarding the South Dakota reproductive rights controversy article. I'd really like an objective addition to the article on the pro-life movement's reaction to what South Dakota did, and I invite you to write it.

Proposed deletion of Horace Calloway
[edit]A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Horace Calloway, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}}
notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.
Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
