[edit]Your username is the only reason for this block. You are welcome to choose a new username (see below) and continue editing.A username should not be promotional, appear to represent a "real-world" group or organization, misleading, offensive or disruptive. Also, usernames may not end in the word "bot" unless the account is an approved bot account. However, you are permitted to use a username that contains the name of a company or organization if it identifies you individually, such as "Sara Smith at XYZ Company", "Mark at WidgetsUSA", or "FoobarFan87". You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:
- Adding
{{unblock-un|your new username here}}
below. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page. - At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
- Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
- Adding
{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below this notice, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Tiderolls 15:04, 26 February 2020 (UTC)Important
[edit]Although your choice of user name is the only reason for this block you need to understand that editing articles with which one has a close association is discouraged. You are free to simply register a new account to continue editing. Just be mindful of editing in an area that my prove you have a conflict of interest. Please see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest. You should also be aware of Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure. Tiderolls 15:04, 26 February 2020 (UTC)

Conflict of interest guidelines
[edit]Hello, Pete Ingham at WOLF. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Palringo, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{request edit}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest#How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:Spam);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Melcous (talk) 11:26, 17 June 2020 (UTC)

[edit]Was there any ambiguity in my previous message to you? Do not edit those articles with which you share a close association. If you have content you need added to such an article, go to the article talk page and make your suggestion there. Additionally, you need to follow the links in the previous section regarding the paid editing disclosure. Further disregard for Wikimedia's Terms of Use will jeopardize your editing privilege.
