I was interested in Zamor and I read all of these discussions! It seems that nobody gives a real solution.
Why this subject can not be sumited to the admin to resolve the dispute? The contributions from virg38 were not completely wrong...!
It's a regrettable thing to classes Zamor just like an artist, because he is known in spanish like a American Historian with many important books about the 16th century;
In french like a philosopher of art with his writens and books; Even as a swami with his Yoga's contributions, in his research of the "completeness" notion, as a human's dignity issues of life.--Notadicht (talk) 00:34, 22 January 2013 (UTC)
Morning
Thanks for your answer to my feedback
I really don't understand what happened!
My first question was about to rename the Zamor's URL page!
And I better shouldn't say anything , because the changes they did are worst that it was!
But they disccuss about another subject and don't want to resolve this.
However if you don't want my contributions anymore I can retire myself.
And, to be clear, I'm not Zamor's wife!!!!!!

I work on the edition of Zamor's pages in English, French, Italian and Spanish. However I’ve found a little problem with the Url nomination to distinguish another Zamor, Louis Benedict Zamor.
Here is the problem: In French, Italian and Spanish, the URL to
First Zamor page is: http://(es)(it)(fr)wikipedia.org/wiki/Zamor
But in the English version it’s:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZAMOR (ZAMOR is writen in capitals).
The other Zamor, Louis Benedict, is "Zamor" (writen in lower case) in the English version’s Url, which is clearly confusing. I would like to work in the translation and advanced research about Louis Benedict Zamor, but it’s necessary to unify the URL in the first place. I recommend to set the URL “Zamor” in lower case, in the english's URL, to harmize it with the other translations of "Zamor Guillerm;
Then, use “Zamor, Louis Benedict” to refer to the other page and keep this nomination for future translations.
Thanks for your regards --Virg38 (talk) 03:27, 2 January 2013 (UTC) 2

I have moved the article to Zamor (artist), added a hatnote to it, and moved the redirection to Zamor (disambiguation).
Please note the following points that will help you in working in English:
The usual English phrases for "majuscule" and "minuscule" are "capitals" (or "upper case") and "lower case". The French words exist in English, but many English speakers may not understand them.
It is not customary in English to write surnames (noms) in capitals. Usually it does not matter, but here it has created a problem.

I'm sorry but I disagree with the category "artist" included in the Url of Zamor, as he is not only an artist but also a philosopher, writer and historian.
Before the Url was http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZAMOR, and now is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zamor_(artist)? That is more confusing as it was.
He is much more referred to by the name "Zamor" than "Louis Benedict Zamor" is, and this one is his URL in the other Wikipedia translations (French, Italian and Spanish).
I suggest leaving the capitals like it was before (ZAMOR) or preferably write only "Zamor" and replace "Louis Benedict Zamor", the French revolutionary, by the capital “ZAMOR”.
Thanks.
I think I’ve made a mistake in the page itself and maybe here by erasing your "resolved". I'm sorry if that is not correct, but I didn't know how to do otherwise. --Virg38 (talk) 21:57, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

It isn't a category, it's a disambiguation. See WP:DISAMBIGUATION. 216.93.234.239 (talk) 23:37, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

I still disagree with this "disambiguation". But it seems that you don't want to accept the real reason of the discussion. I insist that “Zamor” is not only an artist but, also, a philosopher, writer and historian.
He is more referred as "Zamor" than "Louis Benedict Zamor" is, and "Zamor" is the Wikipedia's URL already used for the other languages.
I suggest leaving in capitals like it was before (ZAMOR) or preferably write only "Zamor" and replace the URL’s from the page of the French revolutionary, by “Louis Benedict Zamor”. --Virg38 (talk) 16:48, 3

The language in the article is a mess, needs to be re-written, possibly from scratch. I had a go at fixing a bit, but not knowing what it's meant to say it's quite difficult. Яehevkor✉ 10:30, 3 January 2013 (UTC)

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Zamor (artist). If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give Zamor a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. , but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. KTC (talk) 02:22, 5 January 2013 (UTC)- Perhaps this problem is now resolved, and I don't really take this vague legal threat seriously. Just thought I should point it out to any admins monitoring this troublesome contributor, who finds outrage where there is none. The "dispute", after all, is simply a matter of whether there are other people named Zamor, thus requiring disambiguation. These include: a fascinating figure of the French revolution (Zamor, who may require further disambiguation, but whose article has existed under that title since 2008) and Oreste Zamor, who served briefly as the president of Haiti and has a stub needing development from the solid sources that exist. Pointing out that other Zamors of at least equal notability exist should not occasion the shrill incivility that Virg38 has directed at other editors, nor the chaotic edits without consensus. Cynwolfe (talk) 16:26, 12 January 2013 (UTC)
Maybe you ar not incivility when you have changed ZAMOR by Zamor (artist) without consider all the arguments i told you before, politely. Firstly, Zamor is not only an artist; secondly the Zamor Luis Benedict article is really very poor and his "historical importance" is not consider as well in France! Thirdly Zamor is a Legal Brand registered. etc. etc. etc. And, to finish, I'm not banish by your decision, like I said up I: retire by myself. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Virg38 (talk • contribs) 6:58, 12 January 2013
