Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. A tag has been placed on User:VietDzu requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section U5 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to consist of writings, information, discussions, and/or activities not closely related to Wikipedia's goals. This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. April 2023

[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Zinnober9. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Draft:Dong Yen have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you. Zinnober9 (talk) 23:35, 29 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

This page has remained "DRAFT" for a very, very long time. Please don't be too stringent such as a "draft." VietDzu (talk) 00:29, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Draft:Dong Yen. While objective prose about beliefs, organisations, people, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion.
Promotional content not permitted, Draft or otherwise. The draft still has Nonneutral statement violations that should be addressed.

Do NOT reinstate the promotional mess I've removed, and please stop using the nonstandard header notation of h4 bold. Please use == section == instead. Thank you. Zinnober9 (talk) 00:50, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Now, considering your “censure,” I decided to return to a version posted before 4/28/2023, which remained there as such for months. It will be nice of you to leave it alone as before. I choose to go with a draft version should you keep rejecting my draft version. VietDzu (talk) 00:58, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not care if you wrote it or the IP editor wrote it; it is unencyclopedic content that is not permitted on Wikipedia. How long unencyclopedic content remained in a draft is irrelevant. It does not belong whether it was there for two minutes or 6+ months; it does not belong and must be removed.
Regardless, the version you changed it to STILL has the same promotional links I'm objecting to and is pretty much identical to your version. Beyond the 50+ promotional links to Amazon, the entire draft is written in such a biased, unencyclopedic tone that I do not see much if anything being salvaged from this draft. It would need to be entirely rewritten and sourced. And the fact that this draft is STILL unsourced and I am not finding any potential Reliable sources about this person (the books are not valid WP:RS) is quite concerning. Unless some sources that meet WP:RS are added to the draft in the next 24 hours, I will be nominating the draft for deletion at WP:MfD for lack of available reliable sources and for the biased view the draft presents. Goodreads, Amazon, or any bookseller website will not be reliable sourcing, and while the author's books could be sources, there must also be second and third person sources supporting such claims or statements by the author. Wikipedia, are you using ChatBot technology? It’s counterproductive and frustrating. My page would have turned out differently should it have been read by a human. Furthermore, these days I received extremely weird messages f rom those Chatbot agents. VietDzu (talk) 02:13, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It seems other ChatBots let me though and it’s only you that issued that individual whimsical despotic “verdict” by erasing all significant stuff from draft.

MfD nomination of Draft:Dong Yen

[edit]

Draft:Dong Yen, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Draft:Dong Yen and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Draft:Dong Yen during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Zinnober9 (talk) 22:10, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I repeat myself. Now, considering your “censure,” I decided to return to a version posted before 4/28/2023, which remained there as such for months. It will be nice of you to leave it alone as before. I choose to go with a draft version should you keep rejecting my draft version.
Deletion now? Fine. I don’t care, dummy Chatbot.
Wikipedia, are you using Chatbot technology? It’s counterproductive and frustrating. My page would have turned out differently should it have been viewed by a mindful human with average IQ. These days I received extremely weird messages from those Chatbot agents like you. It seems other Chatbots let me though and it’s you alone that individually issued that whimsical and despotic “verdict” and erased all significant stuff from my draft, transforming it into garbage against my will and everybody’s. Wikipedia should pay fair respect to majority-bund democracy and shouldn’t give cart blanche to unilateral and arbitrary “verdicts” by little despots. Chatbots, OK, but sophisticated AI bots, not dummy and voluntarist bots or bot-like humans.
More often than not, you guys mentioned about “promotional materials,” that, in my case, turn out nothing else than the author’s real works with definite links. What would the world think about an author page without any references to those real works?
By no means does AI technology signify mindless chatbots or chatbot-like humans, intellectually and culturally. For years you have kept Dong Yen’s page in the dark, invisible and inaccessible to the world. Are you guys allergic to the page? That’s fine, but it’s unfair not to leave it alone in the dark. That page barely lends itself to Wikipedia’s insipid articles, especially those initiated and “edited” by the Reds.
Wikipedia, try your best to show the world you are one of the best platforms - ethically, socially, politically, culturally, and, first and foremost, intellectually. VietDzu (talk) 22:20, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on File:DongYen.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement of https://m.media-amazon.com/images/S/amzn-author-media-prod/87k1b53hs5muh30hjhdp85eee5._SX450_.jpg. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use it — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". —Alalch E. 11:39, 2 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
