Ogg file difficulty

[edit]

Greetings, UninvitedCompany. Can I request your assistance, please? I've tried three times now to upload the file Image:Chry_1.5OSGR_Starter.ogg, and although it plays fine for me locally in Audacity under OSX, when playing it from the wikipedia page after upload it winds up with gaps. I've uploaded the file to one of my homespace test pages here. Am I doing something wrong, or have I angered the Wikigods somehow? Thanks --Scheinwerfermann 18:35, 7 November 2007 (UTC) [reply]

Question

[edit]

Hello again UC. Being the gifted pianist that your are, I was just wondering if you had a sample of "Linus and Lucy" laying around anywhere? Hope you are well. Cheers. ♫ Cricket02 20:40, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Nevermind. I have been informed it is still under copyright. ♫ Cricket02 21:19, 6 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I do have the sheet music for it in my personal library, but, as you note, it is under copyright. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 20:02, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Brian Peppers

[edit]

Hello, I was just wondering why the discussion for deletion of the article on Brian Peppers was blanked out and if I can start a new article about him.--Cartman005 02:47, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The discussion was blanked after a divisive debate, which was finally closed when Jimbo Wales issued a decree that the page would remain deleted for a period of one year. The blanking was done in part due to requests from the Peppers family. I would not recommend starting a new article. The Uninvited Co., Inc. 20:05, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I will add that after the year elapsed, a further discussion was convened in which our editors overwhelmingly agreed once again that this was not an appropriate subject for a Wikipedia article. Newyorkbrad 21:55, 8 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
