Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Still Waters (2000 film), you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Olga Volkova. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Сотрудничество

[edit]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Taxi_Blues

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_Dark_the_Nights_Are_on_the_Black_Sea

Ulugbeck1 (talk) 10:44, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Department of youth policy of Union of Cinematographers of the Russian Federation requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about an organization or company, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Ways to improve Genius (1991 film)

[edit]

Hi, I'm LindsayH. Ulugbeck1, thanks for creating Genius (1991 film)!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. It appears that the section on the plot has been translated (from Russian?) or that your English may not be strong enough to contribute such large pieces, as there are a fairly large number of grammatical errors in it.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse.

Happy days, LindsayHello 15:27, 6 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, dear LindsayH!

Yes, I write an article in Russian, then I translate it using Google, I make a preliminary correction and create an article. Then my colleague and editor Er_nesto (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Er_nesto) make the final adjustment, and the article is completely ready. We create correct articles for the English-language Wikipedia, concerning Soviet cinema.

Yours sincerely, Ulugbeck1 (talk) 05:38, 7 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You obviously have a great deal to learn about being a Wikipedia editor. In particular I'd advise you to read WP:OWN and WP:AGF. I also think that you should actually read the books you write articles; the 'plot summaries' are clearly jacket blurbs. Not simply because of the guffy language, but also the way they end with a now read on.... I've just copyedited Nothing Sacred (Akunin), mainly to get the words in an order in which they make sense. IT obviously deals with the opening three or so chapters, as do blurbs.TheLongTone (talk) 13:37, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
