how are you doing
[edit]dont you find my name a little offensive. on your page you wrote your german and your a fan of history.
- No, I don't consider it offensive - the triple entente was the enemy of Germany, but that's nearly 100 years ago, and the Germany of that time wasn't a good place either. I don't think it's good to use history to keep animosities, history should make us learn from the mistakes of the past to prevent them from being done a second time. andy 20:06, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
Response to your message
[edit]Hi, Triple entente, and welcome to Wikipedia. You left a message on my Talk Page. I'm happy to make a new friend. However, I'm curious how you found me and what areas of common interest we might have. You can look at my anemic Talk Page for some clues regarding my interests. A more extensive list of my interests can be found by looking at my contributions log.
Feel free to respond here (I have your Talk Page on my watch list) or leave another message on my Talk Page. Responding here allows us to keep the discussion on a single page and makes the discussion thread easier to read.
If you have any questions regarding Wikipedia, feel free to ask me here or on my Talk Page. Alternatively, you could leave a message on Wikipedia:Village pump (assistance) or simply put the following tag ( {{helpme}} ) on this talk page and someone will come and answer your question.
One suggestion: please sign your edits even here on your Talk Page so that we can tell which edits are yours and which belong to someone else. You can sign your edits by adding --~~~~ at the end of your message. The "--" is optional. It just helps set off your signature from the rest of the message.
Good luck, good editing and welcome once again.

Including full name on your page
[edit]Hi. I noticed that you have included your full "real name" on your user page and in a couple of messages. This doesn't affect me one way or the other, but I know there are some people who would advise that you might not want to do this, as it means that if you get into any controversy here, anyone who does a Google search on your name might wind up reading about it. It's the individual's free choice whether to just use a username or whether to use your real name, but there are definitely people who believe that younger editors should not be posting their full real names on the site. You might want to think about it and discuss it with people you trust. In any event, I join in welcoming you here and hope you have a good time and make some valuable contributions.
