Merci! I'm glad that you like the article and that you are considering translating further information of the English version into French.--Pericles of AthensTalk 17:48, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Antarctica articles

[edit]

Thank you for your note. I am glad that you found the articles about William Speirs Bruce and his expedition interesting. I am continuing to work on other Antarctic and Arctic exploration articles, and perhaps more will find their way into French wikipedia. IUCN

[edit]

Thanks for the note and the link to the database, which I was not aware of. When we first started working on Pennsylvania state park articles, there was only a database on the IUCN website which was mostly national parks and a few state parks - as such we guessed on many of the parks IUCN status. Will update the articles to reflect this website. Ruhrfisch ><>°° 19:18, 17 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

M-6 and M-185

[edit]

I'm not looking to do so right now, but would you be interested in working together to expand fr:M-185 using M-185 (Michigan highway) and fr:M-6 (route) using M-6 (Michigan highway)? I took three years of French back in high school, so I'm a bit familiar with the language, but I'm not proficient enough to translate the articles. Right now, M-6 on the French Wikipedia is just a sentence, yet the English version is quite a bit longer! Imzadi 1979  00:18, 16 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Baal au Foudre

[edit]

Hello LTIR. Just wanted to drop you a note and thank you for translating an article I created, Baal with Thunderbolt. One modification is needed though, the article states that Baal is a Phoenician god, which is a bit inaccurate (the stele, is certainly well before the Phoenicians came about). A more accurate description would be Semitic, or Canaanite (the ancestors of the Phoenicians). Thanks again! :) Yazan (talk) 13:42, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Well, he was also a Phoenician god in their time, but he's more often referred to as either Canaanite or Semitic (as you can see in the English article, Baal) because he precedes them by many centuries. It gets further complicated by the fact that he's not actually a "god" but a title (in this case, and more often than not, associated with Hadad). I think it would be more accurate to change it. Again, many many thanks! :) Yazan (talk) 14:15, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks! Cheers! Yazan (talk) 15:57, 6 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Tim Samaras, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page National Geographic (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
