Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy or request a change of username.

You should also read our conflict of interest guideline and be aware that promotional editing is not acceptable regardless of the username you choose. Additionally, if your contributions to Wikipedia form all or part of work for which you are, or expect to be, paid, you must disclose who is paying you to edit.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text

{{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}

at the bottom of your talk page. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names.

 Thank you. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 23:13, 23 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Requested username:

Request reason:

I'd like to submit a new username that is in accord with Wikipedia policies.

Accept reason:

Renamed, therefore unblocked. Note that you are required to start adhering to WP:COI, WP:PAID, and WP:PROMO going forward. That means no more writing about subject areas for which you have a conflict of interest, including the Bay Area International Children's Film Festival. Yamla (talk) 09:16, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, Yamla. According to the advice I have gotten on the Teahouse forum, and in accordance with the above note from CptViraj to edit the page and try again, I am going to tweak the draft and wait to see if it is approved. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Teahouse#Please_Help_Me_Understand_the_Content_Contribution_Policies FilmFestFan (talk) 21:26, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

That's reasonable. You sought out additional advice and have taken it to heart. Thank you for doing so. --Yamla (talk) 21:36, 24 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, I'm MDanielsBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:Bay Area International Children's Film Festival, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. MDanielsBot (talk) 01:30, 7 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, FilmFestFan. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Bay Area International Children's Film Festival".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! Nathan2055talk - contribs 20:12, 27 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
