MONT5 Article Speedy Deletion

[edit]

Hi,

An article that I wrote recently on one of the brands from the country that I live in, got tagged for speedy deletion (MONT5). I have left a note on the MONT5 talk page and need your kind assistance. Please check as soon as you can. Thanks. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Farrukh.Jamal91 (talkcontribs) 05:49, 16 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Good afternoon Dear Sir,

I will try to complete this article in three days as I need to translate the planned text as piisiple correctly. If You have other critereas to delete it (due to picture is not famouse now or due to not author posted it), let me know please. I received permition from the author to photograph his pictures. Any way the main the explanations of this picture which I intend to write and can be shortly. Without explanation this picture is not so interesting.

Let me know if You do not need to write the explanations or other criteria.

BRGDS Грищук ЮН (talk) 16:16, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Just why is the picture notable? Is the artist notable? has ir received serious critical attention??TheLongTone (talk) 16:18, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I have information that this pictures (was two pictures withe same scene and various sizes) are in serious museums in various countries now and I am not sure 100% due to I was informed. I did not see the pictures in that countries and like one of them in England in privat collection, better to say in privat museum.

The main is not picture, the main explanations. I also in doubt if it will possible to refresh it my memory all text of explanation and translate it correctly on english due to was used words with double meaning during explanation.

I can say that the first thinking in Aveiro about this scene on the picture was not the main as this thinkings only pushed the others to friendly discussions later. And the audio recording of this discussions gave interesting result. Грищук ЮН (talk) 16:31, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I found out the Internet information about the artist (the painter) of this picture. I have his photo also and he is on the Internet page. His degree in arts as per this Internet (the adress I mentioned in article in the References part):
  • awarded several times
  • represented in several private collections and foreign
  • member of the National ANAP-association of artists

And I have oral information only that his some paintings can be in serious collections. Грищук ЮН (talk) 17:56, 19 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mostly all parts of the article completed except "Explanations after the sea voyage". Remain the more difficulty text for translation as it has double meaning sometimes. Can be small changes or additions. You can read and if it is not interesting let me know. I can post the photos of the painter Lopes de Sousa and the ship Ant also if it necessary. Redirected Article

[edit]

Hi, TheLongTone, I created an article this morning, "Annabelle With Bells (Home Made Girl)," which was about a song that was reissued for Record Store Day 2016. When I returned to continue working on the the piece, I noticed that it was redirected to the article Lotti Golden. Because of this, the newly created article, "Annabelle With Bells (Home Made Girl)" no longer can be found. If you feel the article is not worthy, I don't want to argue. I'm disabled, and just sitting at the computer causes me considerable pain, so I have to prioritize. Please, I ask this of you. I will forget about the article--just please remove the redirect from the Lotti Golden article. It is unfair to the artist who has done nothing to deserve a blot on her page for all to see. Thank you for your help! Magdalamar (talk) 23:24, 9 May 2016 (UTC) Magdalamar (talk) 23:24, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I redirected it because the recording did not seem to be notable. However your input is not lost forever; if you click on the

"history" tab and then on the date entry for the last edit you made before I changed it to a redirect you will bring up that vesion of the article; you can then copy/paste or whatever any content that you feel can be usefully be added to the biog of the artiste.TheLongTone (talk) 12:38, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,TheLongTone,

Thank you for responding to my post and for providing the information on how to retrieve the article if needed. My prime concern was to remove the "redirect" label on the artist's article. I understand that you do not think the recording was notable. I was working on the article because there are many pages on Google devoted to that song and single on which it appears, and because it warranted a reissue from Atlantic and Warner Bros. (who are selective in choosing re-releases) as well as the fact that the recordings on vinyl selected for Record Store Day, actually require a submission in advance to be approved by the commitee. It is an honor of sorts for a recording to be included in a given year, with historical.value. Clearly, the song was not a commercial success, but that was not why I chose to contribute the article. As I mentioned, I am disabled, so even little things, like retrieving the article from the history (thank you for the tip!) are difficult for me. If I should write the article in the future, can I contact you, and consult with you on the project? I don't want to contribute a piece that is offensive or below par. Thank youMagdalamar (talk) 16:13, 10 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello TheLongTone,

I gave our conversation some thought, and decided I would like to contibute the article, "Annabelle With Bells (Home Made Girl)." I believe the song has historic value, as evidenced by the many Google searches, topic: *Sock It To Me Baby/It's Your Thing / Annabelle With Bells (Home Made Girl) (7", Single). The topic is on Google. The recording is: Atlantic Records 45-2687 /US 1969. The LP associated with this song (Motor-Cycle, Atlantic Records, 1969) was featured in numerous publications including Look magazine, Newsweek and The New York Times. I can provide the exact references if you'd like. If you feel strongly that this article has no merit, let me know. Perhaps we can find an impartial mediator to assist. My expertise on Wikipedia is my knowlege of music, contibuting new articles, as well as improving existing articles with editing, data and citations. Meanwhile, I can't write the article because it was redirected. A title now exists for that page, but it can't be located due to the redirect. And I can't create a new name for the article, because it's the title of the song. You mentioned how to reverse the redirect, but I am not tech proficient, and can't find the redirect in the history of the artist Lotti Golden's page. Can you remove the redirect from this artist's page, please? When it is removed, I will wait to hear from you before I write the article. Let me know if you object to my writing the artcle on the song, "Annabelle With Bells (Home Made Girl)." If you do you object, let's try to find a fair way to resolve this. I would be open to taking your suggestions as write the page, or we can find a Wikipedia Administrator to arbitrate. Thank you so much! Magdalamar (talk) 11:41, 12 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hi I'm trying to understand how to have a page removed. I was notified today that someone created a wiki page about me. How can I have this removed? Ryanmarfone (talk) 18:46, 31 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Crikey! Usually the problem is that people think they are notable! Unfortunately there isn't really anything you can do to get a page deleted outside of nominating it for deletion, but imo unless somebody searches out much better sources than the biog has at the moment it will in all probability be going down the tubes.TheLongTone (talk) 15:13, 1 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

AFD comments request

[edit]

Hey, it seems weird having to say this, since you appear to be a long-term, knowledgable editor, but do you think you could maybe tone it down a bit with some of your AFD comments? Your comments here are getting a bit unconstructive. I mean, come on, is it really appropriate to declare that an article creator "has a problem" in the nomination statement? You must know that has no bearing on whether or not the subject is notable. The "sicko" comment isn't very subtle either.

Please, follow the basic Wikipedia advice of "commenting on content, not editors". Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 20:20, 14 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted article restored

[edit]

I am contacting you in connection with the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Two Sided Amphora 63.1515, in which you took part. I closed the discussion as "delete", but an editor has now contacted me, providing new sources. All but one of the sources are not available to me, so I cannot comment on their content, beyond the fact that they show that a larger number of scholarly works mention the amphora than was shown to be the case in the deletion discussion. However, I have obtained a copy of the other one of those sources, and I believe it significantly changes the situation from that which existed at the time of the AfD discussion. (It is available at http://www.jstor.org/stable/4171394 if you have JSTOR access.) Because I believe that this information significantly increases the amount of evidence of notability, I have recreated the article, but of course anyone who disagrees is free to take it back to AfD. I am informing everyone who took part in the discussion. The article is at Two-handled amphora (Boston 63.1515), having been moved from the original title given in the AfD page. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 22:35, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Very interesting. I think it was an entirely proper ( accurate) nomination, & Johnbod has done a good rescue job. I'd certainly not vote delete now. I think a third ref would be good. Article writer should have done the attribution & date thing, rather than the description.

ID2 and ZONK

[edit]

Hi TheLongTone, I would appreciate it if you would stop redirecting the pages, "ID2" and "Zonk" to Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman. These singles have played an important role in Dimitri Vangelis & Wyman's musical career, and for you to repeat the aforementioned actions of redirecting these pages would be the same as if you were to do so with two of Calvin Harris' singles or maybe, two of Taylor Swift's singles, and we all know nobody would because it wouldn't be necessary. So for the sake of what is right, fair and necessary, please acknowledge my request. Answer soon, (preferably on my talk page). Thank you, and have a nice day.

December 2016

[edit]

Information icon Hello TheLongTone. Thanks for patrolling new pages – it's a very important task! I'm just letting you know, however, that there is consensus that we shouldn't tag pages as lacking context (CSD A1) and/or content (CSD A3) moments after they are created, as you did at Renal capacity. It is also suggested that pages that might meet CSD A7 criteria not be tagged for deletion immediately after they are created. It's usually best to wait at least 10–15 minutes for more content to be added if the page is very short, and the articles should not be marked as patrolled. Tagging such pages in a very short space of time may drive away well-meaning contributors, which is not good for Wikipedia. Attack pages (G10), blatant nonsense (G1), copyright violations (G12) and pure vandalism/blatant hoaxes (G3) should of course still be tagged and deleted immediately. Thanks. I am not hasty with CSD tags. Redirect proposal

[edit]

There is a proposal to redirect the recently created Far-left politics in the United Kingdom. As you previously commented on it you may want to [Talk:Far-left politics in the United Kingdom contribute] ----Snowded TALK 06:01, 1 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

So it is better to have the albums' pages redirected to the band page (which doesn't have a lot of information either) than to at least list the tracks? Guess the policy here is to point our users outside of Wikipedia where they can at least find tracks information. alvarocarvajal (talk) 15:41, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

re yours on my talk page: For the time being, I'm pointing the albums to pages outside of Wikipedia. If anyone reading the page in English requires more information, they can go to the Wikipedia page in Spanish (which doesn't point to articles with track listings or any other album information either). At least with this edit there's some way to find some album information without opening another tab and going to Google. alvarocarvajal (talk) 15:57, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
re I just don't think it's a good policy to have articles with links redirecting to itself. alvarocarvajal (talk) 16:04, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Certainly circular links are a bad thing. The solution in many cases is to delink, rather than creating flaky articles.TheLongTone (talk) 16:07, 3 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion declined: Ronald Rubin

[edit]

Hello TheLongTone. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Ronald Rubin, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The article makes a credible assertion of importance or significance, sufficient to pass A7. Just in case you are interested (and have the time, of course) ...

I have a rewrite of the article on the Foster mounting nearing completion in my sandbox - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Soundofmusicals/sandbox which may or may not be of interest. In common with other articles I have worked on from (more or less) scratch like this I am basically writing the text first and will be adding the verifiability/links etc. later - appreciate if you could add any comments you might have, including any possible outright errors you might notice, either to my talk page or the one to my sandbox. Most welcome help of all would be usable references, anything you think I should read etc.

Thanks (and Hi!) --Soundofmusicals (talk) 04:54, 2 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there - it appears that to create Piyush Roy you copied this revision of Draft:Piyush Roy. Could you explain why? Not only does that remove the attribution of the contributions, but you also left in the external links littered through the article... -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 14:29, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No idea what you are on about. I simply made a few edits to a new page. I plead innocent.TheLongTone (talk) 14:31, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like it was an edit conflict of sorts - you were editing, I moved the page, you saved etc etc... such is life! Apologies for the inquisition! -- There'sNoTime (to explain) 14:54, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • (edit conflict) It seems you were saving an edit while the page was moved to draftspace, and the edit conflict made a mess of things. I've deleted your mainspace recreation as a technical copyright violation (copying within Wikipedia without attributions), you're welcome to continue making edits to the draft at Draft:Piyush Roy.  · Salvidrim! ·  14:55, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy Deletion

[edit]

I knew this would happen, as the article hasn't quite expanded into a stub yet. I know it needs an infobox, for instance. I have it in my sandbox for safekeeping. I started the article because, while this person stays out of the limelight, he is the CEO of a very large (privately owned) corporation. I made that clear in the article. Is there a higher standard, such as citing sources which are considered more reliable than the corporate website? It is a work-in-progress which I started after reading the existing WP articles on the Bechtel family, and finding that, beyond his father, Riley Bechtel, the chairman and former CEO, who is in his mid-60s, there was no further information I could find. As I stated, speedy deletion was what I expected, but I thought perhaps one person on the planet might benefit from finding the article in the few hours the article was accessible. I now must read up on the process of article creation to make this thing stick. If there is anything vital I seem to be overlooking, let me know.--Quisqualis (talk) 19:52, 10 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Simply being the CEO of a large/notable business isn't really enough. You need to establish notability... what is out there & not self published about him. Some CEOs attract attention & some don't... they may be excellent at therir job but are simply another bloke doing their job.TheLongTone (talk) 15:50, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
He may just be another bloke doing his job! If so, I won't do any more work on the article.--Quisqualis (talk) 19:03, 21 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, don't do that. Try and find something that establishes notability.TheLongTone (talk) 16:32, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Time permitting, I'll see what I can uncover. Strange that I seem to be the only one on the planet wondering who this person is. His company is mighty notable.--71.36.99.131 (talk) 16:48, 24 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
And of course some business operators work very hard to avoid anything being known about them.TheLongTone (talk) 14:40, 27 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Page Review - Newsletter No.4

[edit]
Hello TheLongTone,

Since rolling out the right in November, just 6 months ago, we now have 803 reviewers, but the backlog is still mysteriously growing fast. If every reviewer did just 55 reviews, the 22,000 backlog would be gone, in a flash, schwoop, just like that!

But do remember: Rather than speed, quality and depth of patrolling and the use of correct CSD criteria are essential to good reviewing. Do not over-tag. Make use of the message feature to let the creator know about your maintenance tags. See the tutorial again HERE. Get help HERE.

Stay up to date with recent new page developments and have your say, read THIS PAGE.

New Page Reviewer Newsletter

[edit]
Hello TheLongTone, thank you for your efforts reviewing new pages!

Backlog update:

  • The new page backlog is currently at 18,511 pages. We have worked hard to decrease from over 22,000, but more hard work is needed! Please consider reviewing even just a few pages a a day.
  • Some editors are committing to work specifically on patrolling new pages on 15 July. If you have not reviewed new pages in a while, this might be a good time to be involved. Please remember that quality of patrolling is more important than quantity, that the speedy deletion criteria should be followed strictly, and that ovetagging for minor issues should be avoided.

Technology update:

  • Several requests have been put into Phabractor to increase usability of the New Pages Feed and the Page Curation toolbar. For more details or to suggest improvements go to Wikipedia:Page Curation/Suggested improvements
  • The tutorial has been updated to include links to the following useful userscripts. If you were not aware of them, they could be useful in your efforts reviewing new pages:

Hyperloop in general; Arrivo in specific

[edit]

Hello @TheLongTone. An article about Arrivo, a new competitor in the Hyperloop industry got the speedy delete. It is, to be sure, a new and unproven company in a field of dodgy competitors. The reason for the delete was insufficient information about what makes this company notable. I included what I thought was sufficient -- the cast of characters, who recently departed from the what appears to be industry leader Hyperloop One. We can argue about constitutes a sufficient story. You may win that one. An argument from authority is often compelling.

I refer you to the original article on Hyperloop One. It was 1600 bytes with two citations. If we use the same criteria for that article, it would have been deleted as well. The key player in both articles is the selfsame Brogan BamBrogan. The technology premise is the same. And as of the date of first publication, both companies chances for success were the same.

If you would grant me two more minutes and see what I wrote on my user page, I would appreciate it. Rhadow (talk) 13:02, 17 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The Fokker Scourge article

[edit]

I am having a few problems with an enthusiastic but at times very dogmatic editorial colleague on the Fokker Scourge article. In fact, things have reached a pass where some second opinions might be useful. The specific question he is hammering at the moment is that we shouldn't ever say "No. 1 Squadron RAF" (in spite of that being the usual way of putting it) but "1 Squadron" (on the grounds that the "No." is redundant). I wouldn't object to an occasional omission of the "No.", if only for elegant variation, but he has been going right through the article wiping every instance and claiming that "Wikipedia is not a source" (which is true enough, but nothing to do with the case). The gentleman concerned has been making dozens of other (mostly very pettifogging) changes to the article - a few have been genuine improvements, and most at least acceptable alternatives but some of have made clear text obscure, even meaningless. I have let everything he has done that is at all acceptable stand, but the really bad ones I've had to change - usually with a new version rather than a provocative revert.

I was wondering, if you have a moment, if you'd like to have a little look at the Fokker Scourge talk page (go straight to the bottom if you like) and tell me, either here, on my talk page, or even on the talk page of the article if you want to actually buy into the discussion, if I'm being totally unreasonable and should just give up. This is (for a WWI aviation article) quite a high traffic one - and I'd like to leave it in reasonable shape. At least readable, and plain in meaning (two things I value far above brevity for its own sake). --Soundofmusicals (talk) 01:05, 23 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Keepsake [Heavy Heart album]

[edit]

You keep removing the content for the article I set up for the band Heavy Heart's album Keepsake and setting it to redirect to the band's main article. Please could you explain the reasons why you keep doing this before you just do it again? Jackworking93 (talk)

Because there is no reason to suppose that the album is notable enough to merit an article. As I said in the edit summary.TheLongTone (talk) 14:14, 17 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think that censoring the existence of things is a very appropriate attitude to have as a moderator on a globally adopted service for retaining knowledge regarding releases in art. I've donated money to Wikipedia because I respect the integrity of this idea - and I feel that your actions are undermining the value of creation and invention. This is a release from an upcoming band, with growing international interest, who I happen to be enough of a fan of to want to share this knowledge with others. Please consider this before removing the article on the basis of a very subjective idea. If there is anything you think needs to be added to validate the article, you should inform me prior to removal of the page. Jackworthing93 (talk) 16:11, 17 August 2017 (BST)

Censorship my curvy pink butt. Grow up. The snecking band are barely notable; add the information to that article, It needs a bit of content.TheLongTone (talk) 14:02, 18 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You hit the nail on the head in the AFD. Earwig's Copyvio Detector had it at as a 98.9% suspected violation and it was basically copy and pasted from the site. RickinBaltimore (talk) 15:12, 12 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Chicago School of Mold Making

[edit]

@User:TheLongTone Thanks for the notification. It's a pastry school and specialty sugar sculpture school (and business) that I learned about and used as a resource during my time in culinary school and in my professional pastry career. It's one of the few silicone mold-making schools in the USA, but I didn't want to add that because I was afraid that some would say it was too 'adverty'. I think its notable, almost every pastry chef in the country uses their techniques and molds, reads their books, etc...so how can I go about improving it? For now, citation base is limited to what I found.Brittney Tun (talk) 05:29, 30 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Akunin

[edit]

Здравствуйте!

Пожалуйста, не трогайте страницы по произведениям Акунина "Смерть на брудершафт"! Мы делаем их с моим коллегой! ЗАЧЕМ ВЫ ИХ МЕНЯЕТЕ???

Ulugbeck1 (talk) 13:24, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Speak English, please. I don't doubt the veracity of the plot summaries, but they sound like publishers blurbs, The tone is not encyclopedic.TheLongTone (talk) 13:25, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Strongly disagree with you! These are not commercials, but a description of the plot. This is not a police protocol "he said she left", but a page dedicated to the ARTISTIC work! I reserve the right to file a complaint against your actions! At one time I FOREVER left the Russian Wikipedia precisely because Russian colleagues turned my articles into scraps and stubs. In the English-language Wikipedia until this day there was no one complaint about the style of my articles about art works and movies. Therefore, I ask you VERY - leave everything as is.

Ulugbeck1 (talk) 13:34, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Complain all you like. My actions are legitimate copyedits. I assume that you are not a native English speaker: if you were the plot summaries would offend you as mush as they do me.TheLongTone (talk) 13:39, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ulugbeck1 (talk) 13:55, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I presume that you are not interested in talking to me, so please leave no more of this Cyrillic Guff here.TheLongTone (talk) 12:46, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Dear colleague, If you think that I can not properly write pages about literary stories, then I sincerely suggest that you, personally you, have begun to do this. I'm not going to do it anymore. I hope you will do it brilliantly!

hi LongTone im rupa. Why should it be deleted? rupa$$$ (talk) 14:17, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Read the justification in the deletion discussion. Fundamentally, it's just a random list, and a list of very stupid objects at that. These things are not cars: I've seen one of those McLaren thingies in Central London and the driver was obviously having a really miserable time and wishing he was in a Fiat 500.TheLongTone (talk) 14:22, 6 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

You do realize that in the time that I had reverted your unnecessary deletion that the page was patrolled and deemed notable. Drneroli (talk) 16:29, 29 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I cannot imagine why anybody should think this recording is notable. The sources are weak and the article itself makes no claim of notability. And it was a redirect, not a deletion.TheLongTone (talk) 15:37, 1 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Is the artist not sufficiently notable? Drneroli (talk) 00:39, 2 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ther artist is, hence the article on them. The recording itself does not seem to be.TheLongTone (talk) 14:31, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

New Years new page backlog drive

[edit]
Hello TheLongTone, thank you for your efforts reviewing new pages!

Announcing the NPP New Year Backlog Drive!

We have done amazing work so far in December to reduce the New Pages Feed backlog by over 3000 articles! Now is the time to capitalise on our momentum and help eliminate the backlog!

The backlog drive will begin on January 1st and run until January 29th. Prize tiers and other info can be found HERE.

Awards will be given in tiers in two categories:

  • The total number of reviews completed for the month.
  • The minimum weekly total maintained for all four weeks of the backlog drive.

NOTE: It is extremely important that we focus on quality reviewing. Despite our goal of reducing the backlog as much as possible, please do not rush while reviewing.

If you wish to opt-out of future mailings, go here.TonyBallioni (talk) 20:24, 30 December 2017 (UTC) [reply]

Hello, as an FYI. The AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Livia De Paolis that you started was closed as WP:SOFTDELETE then later contested and recreated. This does not preclude you from renominating the page. --J04n(talk page) 12:54, 3 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Frank Matcham

[edit]

Hello TheLongTone. Just dropping by to what a nice surprise it was to have such a nice message posted on my talk page. It certainly makes a change to have someone pleasant visit my talk page. I've been working on both Theatres designed by Frank Matcham and Frank Matcham for many months. They were fun to do; I'm just gutted I couldn't finish them. I apologise for the expletive upon starting the new article, but I was in a bad place - still am - and I allowed my frustrations to get the better of me. Thank you so much for the compliment; having comments like that made in reward for work makes it more worthwhile. I only wish that there were more people who thought so because if there was, this place wouldn't be so toxic. Best regards, and with my very best wishes. Speedy deletion declined: Nandagopalam

[edit]

Hello TheLongTone. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Nandagopalam, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: The artists have articles, so it is not A9 eligible. Thank you. TonyBallioni (talk) 22:58, 2 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Blériot XI, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Aziza (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:01, 18 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Redirection

[edit]

Hi, it appears that you tried to create a redirect at Russian fifty-ruble banknote, but didn't do it correctly. I've fixed it now. For future reference, the correct redirect syntax is:

#REDIRECT [[target page name]]

Good luck.

Additionally, I shall point out that page/section titles are case-sensitive - in the case of a section title this includes the first letter. — Smjg (talk) 11:08, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have done this before; I'm just sloppy. But I did think I'd checked that one.
