Your recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.

To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

I am notifying you because you have hit the 3RR limit, and you do not want to start with an early block. That said, I really think that unlike a lot of editors on that page, you actually want to improve it in a fairly NPOV manner. My suggestion is to take it slightly slower; propose edits smaller than those you made, and you will find people receptive. Vanamonde93 (talk) 04:45, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Further note; I do not intend to report you at this point, but if you make more reverts, you may be sure that people will. Vanamonde93 (talk) 04:56, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I appreciate the encouragement and advice. I will note that I took this debate to the reverter's talk page, and he has since agreed that my edits were not removing content. I agree that it looks suspicious to remove so much content from one section, but it is clearly just moved to another section below, where it belongs. I see that it my edits have again been removed. I also have nothing to do with Hindu Nationalism or Narendra Modi. I went to that page to learn about the Gujurat riots and saw a mess.The-Postman (talk) 05:22, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for taking this in the right spirit. As I mentioned on the talk, I would be happy to work with you to improve this. I would also mention that a lot of the impatience you will encounter, including some from my part, comes from long years of fending off Hindutva POV pushers. Though I had my suspicions when you first got here, I am convinced you actually want to improve the page. Let's talk on the talk. I would suggest breaking your big edit up and proposing it section by section. Furthermore, a lot of editors, including myself, edit a lot of pages; we rarely have the time to pick through a massive edit. Cheers, Vanamonde93 (talk) 05:28, 20 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
