Welcome!

[edit]

Hello, TSplus, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Draft:TSplus, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:TSplus, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. — rsjaffe 🗣️ 17:33, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because of the following problems: the account has been used for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia, and your username indicates that the account represents a business, organisation, group, or web site, which is against the username policy.

You may request a change of username and unblock if you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting your business or organization. To do this, first search Special:CentralAuth for available usernames that comply with the username policy. Once you have found an acceptable username, post the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. In your reasons, you must:

  • Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement.
  • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked.
  • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the page. ceranthor 17:36, 3 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I am an independent IT consultant aiming to provide educative description of relevant businesses and solutions in the sector. I do not receive any financial compensation from writing on Wikipedia. The only purpose of the TSplus page I had started to write is to educate professional in the sector. I understand that the initial page I wrote could be categorized as advertising, therefore, I now intend to strictly stick to a well-sourced factual description with educational purposes.

Decline reason:

The username issue is now resolved. Please read conflict of interest and tell us how your future edits will be consistent with that policy, as well as any topics unrelated to your conflict of interest you might edit about as a general contributor. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 10:51, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there,
I thank you for accepting the username update. With regard to conflict of interest, I pledge to do all the following:
- Be transparent about your conflict of interest / Do not edit or create articles about yourself, your family or friends, your organization, your clients, or your competitors. => I am indeed involved with the client for which I would like to write a Wikipedia page, but I have no direct interest in doing it any particular way. The page will indeed respect all the guidelines listed in your policy, especially facts and reliable sources, and will be minimalist.
- The role of editors is to summarize, inform, and reference; not promote, whitewash, or sell. => noted and understood
- Article subjects require significant coverage in independent, reliable sources. => I will pay particular attention to this one
- State facts and statistics; don't be vague or general. => I will also pay particular attention to verified facts
- Take time to get sources and policy right. => noted and understood.
- Get neutral, uninvolved, disinterested editors to review your suggestions. => noted and understood.
- Respect the volunteer community's time; avoid making protracted or repeated requests. => Yes, please accept my apologies for previous events.
If it helps, I am happy to transfer the draft of the page to you before publishing it. But again, I intend to make it an informative, fact-based short page.
Kind regards,
Alexis Lhuillier Alexis Lhuillier (talk) 17:39, 22 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Note that "paid editing" is not limited to specific payment for edits, any paid relationship with a topic triggers the disclosure requirement of the Terms of Use. 331dot (talk) 10:51, 21 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
